The copy or cut and paste doesn't work at all for moving things from the
desktop to the start menu, at least it doesn't for me. Any other ideas?

Try using the shift f10 instead and using cut and paste from the menu . =
I
find using the mouse actions from jaws to never work well=20
The steppes are=20
Find the item you want to move=20
Press shift f10=20
   choose cut or copy c for copy and t for cut=20
Go to the new location and press shift f10 and choose paste p=20

Subject: drag & drop

I'm having trouble dragging and dropping an icon from my desktop to my =
start

menu. I've done this before, but for some reason it's not working. It =
does=20
one of two things:

1. I will make sure the JAWS curser is on the icon, do an insert control =

left mouse, and after turning the PC curser back on, go to the start =
menu=20
and do a control insert left mouse. It will tell me the object is not =
found=20
and the drag and drop is canceled.

2. I follow the steps above, and it will place the icon in a folder on =
my=20
desktop instead of on the start menu.

Any ideas what the problem could be or am I missing a step? I'm using =
JAWS=20
5.1 on this computer with XP Home.

Thanks.

Vicki
