Peter, Thanks for the information. However, Unfortunately hitting alt+n on
the download link does absolutely nothing.
Also, Can anybody tell me how to stop I.e. from deciding that I'm neither
old enough nor responsible enough to allowed to decide for myself which
programs I want to download. I really wish Microsoft wouldn't take it upon
itself to make decisions like that for me.

Even though you don't have popup blocker on, I think IE still blocks
downloads if started automaticaly by the web page. Therefore you would need
to do ALT + N to go to the Navigation bar and press space to bring up the
drop down menu and choose Download File.
