I'd just like to suggest what would be the normal approach for most Windows users, even if the Run command method appeals to some. It is good to know the tools that are provided for conventional use in Windows. this is to use either My Computer or Windows Explorer, the standard interfaces for navigating the contents of your computer. For instance, when I want to see what's on the flash drive mp3-type player I use for both music and audible.com books, I plug the player into the appropriate USB port on the front of my computer. Then, in Windows Explorer, I arrow down the tree list of folders and drives from my C:\drive through a couple of other things to my E drive folder, which is also called the Removable Drive. And then to see what's on the player, I just tab over to the files list view and arrow up and down it, just as I do in any other drive or folder. Just offering this for the sake of context the suggestion may provide. Not arguing which way is better. That's about personal preference.
