No Judi told me that she does have a jaws 7.0 icon on her desktop. As she said in her message, I put a shortcut into the desk top (icon). But it's not working. I believe that she may have that shortcut assigned to something else or another version of Jaws. I would get hot key detective from the programs page at JFWLite and run it. it will show you all the shortcut keys you have assigned on your system. It only reliably works with windows 98 though, but I think that is the machine Judi is talking about as she is still in the process of upgrading to XP. I gave her other ways of loading JAWS, but should have mentioned another way of finding the shortcut. ----- Original Message ----- From: info.rczenterprise@xxxxxxxxx To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, June 14, 2006 9:11 AM Subject: Re: desk top icons Patricia, inthis case, she cannot find Jaws 7.0 in her Desktop. Yesterday I put a shortcut into the desk top but the problem is it doesn't work. Oftentimes, when I boot up or my husband dumps jaws so he can work on the machine, this shortcut which I assigned as control shift j, doesn't work when I hit it. Any suggestions as to how I can get jaws back with this shortcut? May I know what version of Jaws you want to create a short cut key? May I know also if the version of Jaws you are trying to create a short cut is in your desktop? One is simply "jaws" and the other is jaws 7.0. Since both icons have the shortcut or hotkey combination of control/alt/j should I delete the one that is simply "jaws"?
