I definitely do not open any thing, especially email attachments, from some
one I do not know. I do not open attachments from folks I know, unless I
have been notified prior to their arrival that a certain email attachment is
coming my way. A lot of people use AOL email service, which usually comes
as an email with an attachment. Even my friends who do not follow my
instructions on how to send me an email message using AOL without an
attachment, have their email messages summarily deleted from my inbox.
Maybe this is why I have not gotten a virus in the past 12 years without
using an antivirus program.
