creating a list in jaws

I would like to start and list of items in which I can gradually add more on a
regular basis. My hope is to be able to have each new item added in
alphabetical order similar to "my documents", so that later I can jump to any
one of them by merely pressing a first letter. Is there a program that allows
one to set up such a list?
My current work-around thought is to do it by using either note pad or word
pad; put a space in the untitled memo, close it, and enter my 20 or 30
character item in the title.
I'd appreciate any thoughts!
