What version of Jaws are you using? 4.51 and below had this problem you
write about. I had it also, but if you're using 4.51, there is a patch to
correct this issue. If you're using 5.0, this is the first case of the
bogged down cpu usage I've seen, therefore, I don't have an answer.

Subject: cpu usage lost jaws

Question techies.

I was looking at a web site , when my hard drive started something. Jaws
went silent.. Using narrator, I saw that my cpu usage was at 100%. Now,
not sure why, but in time it went back down and I could use a voice again.
WindowEyes will work, but jaws not. Why is that?

Stupid question. If one reaches 100% cpu usage, that will cause jaws not to
work correct?

thank you for all
