Re: copying email sender's address

Yardbird, I'm sorry, if I make you confuse using alt + 1 twice. All I mean is
to press 1 rapidly.

Hope this things clear up.

  hello Sy!

  Do the following:
  using this message,
  1. Press Alt + 1 twice in rapid mode.
  2. JAWS will announce, "From read only edit RCZ Enterprise".
  3. Press shift + end key to highlight the sender's email address.
  4. Do ctrl + C, to copy the address.
  5. Press your escape key to close the message.
  6. Do a ctrl + n, to create a new message.
  7. In the To field, do a ctrl + V, to paste the address and do a say line

  Question:
Did JAWS announce the address you coppied?

if the instruction above does not work for you, let me know,
What version of JAWS are you using?

    Okay Harry,
I tried the alt+1 and also got the sender's address. I then tried the
  alt+1
and the pressed 1 again but my poor computer did not like that selection
  at
    all.
What exactly do you mean "alt+1,1"?
    Cy, the confused Ancient Okie...

Doing an alt+1 command surely does bring up the from: field, but I am
  unable

to select it and copy it to the clipboard. Doing alt+1,1 brings up the
  from

field in a read only format, but now I am able to copy it to the
  clipboard,
then do a paste command into a message to: field.
