I don't understand it, but what I've found is that Jaws uses something called virtual find, which is ctrl+insert+f. Ctrl+f is for PC cursor as far as I've experienced.

Subject: control f vs. control-insert-f

I was wondering what the difference is between the control-f command in IE vs. control-insert-f. I guess because I do control-f in most other places to find stuff, it was only natural for me to do that... I think I used control-insert-f the first time I learned about it, but then just started doing control-f because that's where my hands wanted to go. is there a difference between the two? the only thing I've seen happen is sometimes forms mode turns itself off and then it becomes an internet explorer find command, but usually it works.
