I don't use AVG. I also pay for my antivirus program it is Etrust Vet antivirus. I have used Vet for many years with no problems.

I also have been having similar problems. My machine takes forever to start up, programs take a long time to load etc. I have written to another list with this problem. Didn't have much luck. I had already tried all there suggestions. If you get any help off list please let us know.

1. Repaired jaws instillation.
2. I use AVG and it is always updated, checked that there is no virus.
3. run disk clean up, disk defragmenter and checked hard disk for errors.
4. manually cleared the temp and internet temp folder.
5.Run Regscrupxp for registry clean up and also run cleaner-free.exe the check on spy.
This is really irritating please help.
