How do they react to the different voices? I'm thinking of asking Karen
for her hand any day now.

First, forget connecting the toast to the cat; simply butter the cat's
back and drop the cat.

Second, my eldest cat has a JAWS fixation too. I've started keeping one
of those carpeted cat towers next to my computer chair, so Little Miss
has somewhere to lounge (My lap is occupied by the pull-out keyboard).
The ferrets also find JAWS interesting; they continue to attack the
speakers, whenever I have one sitting with me on the computer (They can
fit in my lap with the pull-out keyboard).

JAWS definitely provides humor that was an accident of design.
