hi why do you think that alva bc 640 is the best one? Which other bvraille
displays you have experience with from my list and what are their advnatages
and disadvantages?

Hi, not at the moment, because I currently use EasyBraille40 with bluetooth.
But, optelec driver for BV works good with jaws11.
Personally, I think that Alva Braille controler 640 is the best choice from
the list you mentioned.
But I have no any experience with focus40 blu yet and so I can't say anything
what are its advantages and disadvantages.

All mentioned displays are supported by jaws and window eyes and much
more.
I have great experience with Braille voyager in the last eight years.

Yes, I had to use Parallel but I didn't get this power Braille
until I had version 11 so I of course don't know what it runs like with serial.
If FS ever gets their heads straightened out and includes serial, I'll switch
to it.

Did you have to switch to using a parallel port with Jaws 11? If
so, did you notice any difference in the operation of your PowerBraille?

As for Braille displays, it depends upon what you want. Do you
want a Braille display that also is a note taker or do you want a Braille
display only? I use a powerBraille 40 but you may want something different.

I am runing jaws 11 and I would like to get a braille display
canyou recommend which one would work best with it? I believe I have heard that
freedom scientific makes it somehow harder for other braille displays to work
with jaws.
