Hi Debbie, It was very clear and I thank you very much. I just went into
autoformat and unchecked automatic bulleting and I hope that does the trick.

shortcut key to turn on bullets of which I cannot recall at the moment. But,
you would normally have to make an effort to bullet something and so you
would definitely know about it.

arrows. This has something to do with how the auto format is set up and jaws
cannot see this number or bullet. If turning off auto format is not an
option, when you enter to add another line of text, check by having jaws
read line to make sure there are no new numbers or bullets. If you hear one
you do not want, press backspace and read your line again with the read line
keystroke. If you backspace all the way back to the previous line, and press
enter again, you will pick up on the previous formatting again, hence
putting that number or bullet back in.
