The problem with public beta testing in general is that very few people
are=20
going to go through the steps necessary to accurately report a bug.=20
Well then it is there loss. The person who can not be bothered to do
what is needed to beta test should not be beta testing.=20
Secondly, not many people know enough about the systems they use to tell
the=20
difference between a bug in JFW and another problem.
Not there job. We do not have access to the code to make that
determination. It is not the beta testers job to tell the programmer
why a problem is happening it is his job to tell him that it is and how
to reproduce it. Also it is up to support to document what causes non
jfw problems that a user would have while using jaws and put it in the
knowledge bass. If this was free software and user supported then the
adatude of let the user work around it or in some cases fix it is ok.
But this is not user supported software and not free. =20
What I mean about user supported is that your fellow users are your main
source of support. =20
