blank messages in windows messenger

Hi friends. I am not sure if this was posted or not. If it was sorry for this
repeat message.
A friend of mine was using the new jaws and when she was typing to me on my
window she sid that all she got was blank blank.
i on the other hand was reading all of her messages loud and clear.
Is there something she can do/
or does she have to go back to the old one.
