Rick, Is there an alternative? If so let's explore it. Let me use an automotive hot-rod allegory. Many of the automotive manufacturers don't want to be associated with the hot-rod or tuner culture, however there some really bright engineers who want to make those cars go fast in spite of the factory. They take these cars apart assess their strengths and weaknesses and capitalize on the strengths and bolster the weaknesses for a great end result. Why can't the same can do approach be applied to JAWS? -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rick Harmon Sent: Monday, September 22, 2008 6:52 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: auto forms mode Larry, how are they to do this when Intuit is completely hostile to both companies and to the blind community in general? I say the hell with using their programs, let's support someone that wants to help us to use their products. This is something that both FS and GW agree on. The fact that no screen reader offers much support for these products should be an indicator here of where the blame lies. bruce -- Bruce Toews Proud JAWS User Skype ID: o.canada E-mail and MSN/Windows Messenger: bruce@xxxxxxxx LiveJournal: http://masterofmusings.livejournal.com Web Site (including info on my weekly commentaries): http://www.ogts.net Info on the Best TV Show of All Time: http://www.cornergas.com On Mon, 22 Sep 2008, DJ wrote: > Now that, I strongly agree with.
