Judith,
An easy to send a single attachment is to use Windows Explorer or navigate to
the file you want to attach using my computer then click on the file menu then
the "send to" pulldown and then 'mail recipient'. this will create a new email
message for you and you are positioned to enter the email address of the person
to whom you are sending the attachment. The file will already be attached.
When you send the email you will be back in the file list of MY COMPUTER or
Windows Explorer.
HTH
Bob

After you send a music attachment how do you go back to "my documents" as the
source for an attachment? Thanks, Judith
