Hi there and list,
The default.jss file can be found at the following location: C:\Program Files\Freedom Scientific\JAWS\(version) for program files; C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Freedom Scientific\JAWS\(version)\Settings\ENU for all users; C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Application data\Freedom Scientific\JAWS\(version)\Settings\ENU for user settings. Or, go to Start/Programs/JAWS (versiongg/Explore JAWS and select either Shared Settings, User Settings, and Program Files. You'll find the default script file there. Also, when adding the script in question, be sure to remember two things: I recommend that you copy it at the end of the file, and be sure to not use line breaks because JAWS cannot interpret a script if it is separated by a line break.
HTH,
Joseph pddness. I'm new to the list, by the way.

hi chris,
after you paste the script in to your
default.jss file, put your cursor on
the line said:

Script clickhelpballoon ()

then press "ctrl+d", then you should know
what to do next.

Subject: assigning a keystroke to the help
baloon script

Hi folks.
Ok, I downloaded the click help baloon
script from the link
provided and atempted to add it to my
default.jss file. However, I
couldn't find anywhere in the menus to
actually assign a keystroke to
it. To let you guys know, I selected and
copied the script and
pasted it at the top of my default.jss file,
but like I said, I
couldn't find a way to assign a keystroke to
it.
Can you guys help out here? I'd very much
appreciate it.

Thanks.
