They generally don't plague me either, but I've always just found it
easier to just lay it safe and uninstall if and when I have to for space
constraint reasons.

Does it matter, particularly? I just mean that you're not losing your old version of JAWS by installing 7.1, so what is the harm in installing 7.1 and then just going back if you so choose?
