This may be a naive question, but what could be different about a keyboard
used by a British English speaker? It's still the Roman alhabet and Arabic
numerals, and there aren't any diacritical marks with any of the letters. Am

This key stroke just changes the keyboard language, if you happen to have
more than one installed. An American english version of Windows default
installation only uses American english keyboard language, a British english
copy will use british english, ETC.
