Hi Jill, I am not really sure about your first question, but I have had as many as 260 messages in my in box. As for your second question, all messages I want to keep, are stored outside of Outlook Express. I do this for a couple of reasons. 1. I back up my files daily, so these messages are kept elsewhere, as well as being on my hard drive. 2. Depending on their content, I may save messages as eml files or text files. The ones that are saved as eml files, can be accessed without opening express and looking for them, and of course, the text files can be read with Notepad. So your second question is really a matter of preference, and the first one , I haven't had the occasion to research.
