pinning to the start menu
is, if you are using the start menu instead of the classic menu in task bar
and start menu
folder
one of the differences
between the two, is that having menu's set to the start menu is a little
faster than having it set to classic menu

Hi

Actually, you wouldn't be"pinning" JAWS to the start menu, not sure where
you got the term "pinning from? The term you want to use is adding it to
the start menu, and it can most definitely be done, but not through the
context menu.

Here's how I would do it, there may be other ways.

1. If you're using xp, go to the start menu.
2. Go to settings, and then control pannel

3. Press the letter t until you hear taskbar and start menu and press enter.
4. Go to the start menu tab and then press your tab key twice and you'll
see a customize start menu... button, so press this and a dialogue will pop
up.
5. Follow the prompts and you'll get an opportunity to add a program, that
being JAWS to the start menu and then click finish at the end and JJAWS
will be on your start menu. Personally I use the desktop icon to start it,
but hey, if you want to do it that way, that's certainly fine. The
customize start menu dialogues will do what you want though.

and like I said there may be other ways of doing this, but that's how I
know how.
