ummm, you don't need to be so troubled about it all. here is what i did. after reading the post that the access 32 was available fro hj.com i downloaded, installed on my system & got the error. i ignored the same & uninstalled the jaws & even deleted it's folder rebooted the system & re-installed the jaws 844. oh yes, before uninstalling the jaws, i also took the auth key back. while installing the jaws i chose dectalk as one of the options & after installed the auth & i was up & running. i can pretty much switch back & forth in between the synths. hope, all this helps. bye, bharat. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Poehlman" <poehlman1@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, April 02, 2004 11:40 PM Subject: Re: access32 with jfw 5 under windows xp I know for a fact that it will work. I'm not sure which access 432 you have or what your jaws is authoried for but even though some got the error, it still worked. I wonder though since we got it to work by installing it and setting it up before installing the authorizatin for jaws, that this might be what is necessary. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Damon Fibraio" <dfibraio@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, April 02, 2004 1:06 PM Subject: access32 with jfw 5 under windows xp strange. I installed an authorization for jfw that works with access32 from FS, downloaded the access32, got the usual error that jfw 3.0 or 3.2 is not installed and while others say that you can run dectalk access32, I can't get it to run. I have access32 installed as a speech synth in jaws, but it goes back to eloquence when I try to change synth frm the language menu. I guess I just have a flawed computer. -- Damon Fibraio, email dfibraio@xxxxxxxxxxx Musician, broadcaster, computer technician, and troublemaker aol instant messenger screenname: dfibraio MSN Messenger screenname: dfibraio@xxxxxxxxxxx: Band site: Visions: http://www.visions692000.com Listen to no Holds Barred Radio.
