Hi Evangeline,
could you explain this again? I would like to be able to use this command to
make certain character formatting speak different. With considerable effort
and stretching, I managed to open the list of schemes, and was able to turn
on the proofreading scheme for what I would like to hear spoken in a
different voice. But this is one crazy stretch of the hand and fingers, for
me anyway.
So I saw your advice to change the hotkey, but I guess I didn't understand
your instructions. I opened the keyboard manager and left it in the file for
Word, and arrowed through the list looking for something with Insert alt s
so I could change it, but I couldn't find anything like that. Was I looking
in the wrong place? Please give specific directions.

One thing that you can do is to change the keyboard shortcut. You can
go to the list of the script for Ms word and change the keyboard
shortcut for saying font as well as its style. I hope it will help
