Hi
Go to Configuration Manager, Text processing and try altering the 'Item State
first', Window type first' and Window State first' check boxes.
Cheers
Chris

Subject: a jaws issue witch hass alluded me.
hi, well for the most part I like the way jaws says controls.
name state if there is one type data.
this rule is broken in the virtual cursor how ever.
when you tab to a link for example the rule is obeyed and I can set this in
Braille to show it how I like and it does it the same way but when you arrow to
a link it says state type name. I want this to be the same all the way around
for all controls. any one no of a way I can do this?
thanks.
