I can only tell you that I had the least trouble of all with Jaws 2.0 and Me. It was also on a Dell and it never had the crashes and stop errors that this setup does. 

I bought the computer and State Services sent a tech out to install Jaws.

JAWS 2.0 under Windows ME? How the hell did that work! I tried it, and I kept getting jfw errors, although that might be because I was trying to run it on top of JAWS 3.7.

Jaws 2.0 with Windows ME on a Dell in 2001. And that Dell never crashed like this E3100 does.

Hello all,

Without getting off topic regarding Jaws, I'd be interested to know what
your first memories of screen readers are. Mine begin with Jaws 3.2 on an old Gateway PC back in 1997. Good oal Doubletalk PC couldn't even handle the 
Romance languages for heaven's sake!
