When I had jaws 3.5 and I was proofing anything and reading it line by line
if there was a misspelled word on a line I would hear at the beginning line
that there was "one misspelled word" and at the end of the line the same
thing would be said. I just got used to it. I know how to check a word
that I suspect of being misspelled, I don't have to select it. I just put
the cursor on the first letter, invoke the spell check and I get what I
need. Maybe its just something I became used to because I can be lazy. For
the most part I spell very well; my relatives and friends often call just so
that I can spell a word for them. Even my husband who knows far more words
than I ever will asks me how to spell certain words. It's not my spelling
skills that I am worried about, its just something that I became used to and
depended on. Judith
