Re: Word documents that won't read in wordpad

Hi Dale and list,

Dale I wonder if you are referring to Stratus pad, the one up on jfw lite 
page? I've heard that it is a good substitute for Word, no scripts for it 
yet though.
But of course it can be used without scripts, however I find that using Word 
is enhanced with them like for instance when you are doing a spell check.

Well, you will probably want to get Word or something like it if you are 
going to be writing for school. In the mean time there used to be a 
programme which would read Word files, a freebie, I had it on my old 
computer, I will see if I can find a modern version of it.
