Hi Chris,
that did not do the trick, the cursor still jumps into the message list.

Nermin

Try unchecking "automatically open folders with unread messages" in the
general tab of options.

Subject: Windows Mail and Live Mail, the annoying Tree View
Hi all,
is there any way around the tree view of Windows Mail or Live Mail, when
navigating the message folders?
Whenever a new mail is received, Windows Mail wants to be clever, and
puts me directly in the message list, making navigating the whole folder
structure nearly impossible.
Does Microsoft provide an alternative for this, or any hidden option to
tweak this setting?
And don't tell me to use Thunderbird or other products ;-)
This is for a friend, who is not knowledgeable about Computers and
installation procedures.
Regards,
Nermin
