okay... I saw windows live messenger when trying to crate a hotmail account for someone just recently, and am unsure, what's the difference between it and the regular one?

windows live messenger is now officially released, it is no longer in beta. you can get it at

As others have said, it works quite nicely with JAWS 7 and 7.10.
