It was perfectly obvious to me what he meant.
Cheers.

Chris, I'm sorry, but even if that's what you meant, that isn't what the
below says. If you don't see that, I don't know what to say. In any case,
thanks for rewriting and clarifying what you meant.
you wrote:
Winamp 5.31 and all other previous versions of Winamp, with the
exception of version 3, work beautifully with screenreaders. and you
can't even find winamp3 anywhere on the net anywhere, it's a huge
disappointment, even to sighted folks.

that means: Every version of Winamp except for version 3 is screen reader
friendly, and you can't find version 3 anywhere these days. Which, even
though it's not screen reader friendly, is (for some inexplicable reason) a
matter of regret to blind users.

You see? I don't think you wrote all of what you must have been thinking.
Again, thank you for clarifying. I'd just like to make it clear that I read
your post attentively. Please trust me when I ask a question like that. I
don't ask such things casually or sarcastically, in case that isn't clear to
you.

thank you very much.

Yes, I meant *exactly* what I said before. It's nnot contradictory in
the least. When Winamp 3 was released a few years ago, it was a
huge failure. Both sighted and blind users of Winamp alike absolutely
hated it. So Nullsoft made the next version much like the
traditional version we all knew previously, but instead of calling it
version 4, they put the best things about Winamp 2 and Winamp 3
together, and called it version 5, as in 2 plus 3=5.
That's a fact.
