Price sounds fine. You really don't need a high-quality sound card for JAWS 
use.

If using JAWS 9 or lower, you'll need to add a line to your jfw.ini file 
like this:

Synth1Port=SigmaTel Audio

This is presuming that:

1. Your Eloquence is Synth1
2. Your sound card is SigmaTel Audio

Of course, your sound card will very likely be different. SO once you've 
installed the sound card and its drivers, then go to Control Panel and then 
Sounds and Audio Devices, and look under  the Audio tab to see the *exact* 
spelling of the new sound card you installed. Copy that name exactly in the 
jfw.ini file as I've directed above.

If you're using JAWS 10 then I have no idea how to do this. I don't use JAWS 
10.

Dustin,

Any cheap audio USB stick will work fine. You'll need to tell JAWS to use it
as the primary port, once you've installed it on your computer.

Hi, I'm trying to have jaws run through a headset, and have the content on
my laptop play through its speakers.  What type of external soundcard works
best with jaws.  I'm not wanting to spend a ton of money.
