Hi Fran. When you get your laptop here are a few things. If you select laptop
from the basics menu in Jaws then you can use the caps lock as your jaws key.
On my laptop I do hae it set to laptop, but I don't need to use the caps lock
too much because my jaws key is on the bottom row of my keyboard. The only time
I use the caps lock is when I need to route the jaws to pc cursor with cap
locks plus the key to the right of the p letter. Also some laptops have what is
called a function key. Not to be confused with thef keys. You can use this
function in combination with other letter keys to perform some things. For
example pressing this function key and the letter p will activate the pc cursor
or if you are on the internet this will turn off forms mode. Another example is
function key plus the semicolon key is the jaws cursor. Hope this helps.
