That is not really very helpful. It's good advice, but reviews letting us know what to look for in each demo are really what's helpful. No it is not for one man might want one thing and another man might want some thing else. For example a gentleman said yesterday that you had to know your windows standards more then jfw and jaws was better because it had more keys to do more things with out having to go in a dialog. Well for my money that is a disadvantage of jaws not window eyes. Others might find having more keyboard support with out having to use menus better. The best way for anyone to decide is take the time don't be lazy try it out and see for your self. =20 Before you toch a demo read the documentation that comes with it. Witch one has better docs. Often the one having the best docs is the one for a new user to go with. Well if you are not a new user then look at the programs it supports is yours on the list? See each person has to in the end make up his own mind so he might as well start that way. =20 Another example I went with window bridge because I wanted speech Braille support all in one package from dos and windows. I also wanted fast releces to new operating systems and new programs I was willing to live with some bugs if I got that kind of support. Other bitched and raced hell wanting to use there old dos screen reader ensted. See to each his own. =20 Chip Orange Database Administrator Florida Public Service Commission Chip.Orange@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (850) 413-6314 =3D20 > -----Original Message----- > From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx=3D20 [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] = >On Behalf Of jim grimsby > Sent: Thursday, April 14, 2005 2:07 AM > To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: RE: Well folks, I tried! >=3D20 >=3D20 > Hi James, > could you, as a Window-eyes user, go into the pros and cons=3D20 of=20 >using Window-Eyes or JAWS?
