Re: Weird Little JAWS 10 Problem

Also, which page display mode is he using? I'm using Simple Layout, and I
can tab freely through all the tabs that come after the Google search edit
box. Not assuming this is related, but it may be worth considering while
looking for a bug and/or a solution.

I just tried it right now using JAWS 10 on Windows XP, and it works no
problem whatsoever. What browser is he using?

Subject: Weird Little JAWS 10 Problem

Hello:

I was working via JAWS Tandem with a client running JAWS 10 on an XP
machine. Here's his problem and I wonder if anyone else has seen this and
if so, what if anything you did to fix it.

On certain websites such as google, when you tab over to the Google Search
button or I'm Feeling Lucky Button, and then try tabbing past one of these
buttons to the next object on the page, you can't seem to tab to the next
thing. For example, if I'm on the I'm Feeling Lucky button and try tabbing
to the next thing which should be "Advanced Search," I still hear "I'm
Feeling Lucky button." This appears to be a problem in JAWS 10 on an XP
machine, my JAWS 10 on Vista doesn't give me this problem and we did not see
it in JAWS 9.

Again, has anyone seen this behavior and if so, were you able to fix it?

Thanks,
