Hi Listers,
I don't know how many of you are interested in the weather. However, if you
are, here's a sweet little program I bought online. The price is only 12
dollars. The program is called Weather Socket, or wetsock for short.
The link to the site is:
http://www.robomagic.com
You can download a free trial version if you'd like to try it out before you
buy it. The registration can't be done without sighted help. However, if you
let them know that you are blind, they will send you your registration as an
attachment as a .reg file. Just save, then open the .reg file and the program
registration is done automatically. Here's some info on this program. Jack

WetSock will keep you updated about the weather over Internet without even
needing to dial into your Internet Service Provider. If you periodically dial
in for surfing, checking your mail etc., WetSock will connect to the weather
server and get the weather information in the background, but can also dial
in and hang-up by itself.

· WetSock works by monitoring your network connections and getting the weather
information once you are connected for any other purpose.
· Integrated with built-in Dial-up Networking. Will use your existing Dial-up
Networking and TCP/IP settings. Requires no further settings.
· Silent background operation. Easy access to features via a system tray icon.
