MessageThen, of course, there are audio-ripping programs, such as CDEX, Audio
Grabber and Easy CD-DA Extractor, that not only rip audio from CD's to various
formats but, also convert audio files from one format to another.

So, you need to decide, whether this is going to be a one-time or an occasional
thing you will want to do or, whether you will want to convert audio files on a
regular basis and, then choose the appropriate program to fulfill your needs.

Personally, I use Easy CD-DA Extractor.

Audio Grabber can also do that for you and it is very accessible.

    Hi folks,

I have Winamp 5.31 and Windows Media player on my machine,
I have an audio disk recorded in Wave Format and and need to convert it to
mp-3 for use with Winamp.
What is the cleanest way to accomplish that conversion?
I am using either Jaws 8.latest or 9.latest and Windows XP-Pro.
