Craig,

First off, both units have been spoken for.

There really isn't much more that I can tell you than what has already been
said on the list.
The Type N Talk is what was used before speech came into the PC world with
Windows and "built in speech".
Now a days, most people use the internal software synthesizers, such as
Eloquence. Back in the 80s, this wasn't an option. Computer users had an
external box that connected to the PC with a serial cable that provided the
speech.

If you have additional questions, please contact me off list, since this
really isn't a JAWS subject and I have probably surpassed the Administrators
courtesy to even allow me to post this note in the first place.
I'll try to answer any additional questions you may have.

Always,
Barbara Anne
