Craig, First off, both units have been spoken for. There really isn't much more that I can tell you than what has already been said on the list. The Type N Talk is what was used before speech came into the PC world with Windows and "built in speech". Now a days, most people use the internal software synthesizers, such as Eloquence. Back in the 80s, this wasn't an option. Computer users had an external box that connected to the PC with a serial cable that provided the speech. If you have additional questions, please contact me off list, since this really isn't a JAWS subject and I have probably surpassed the Administrators courtesy to even allow me to post this note in the first place. I'll try to answer any additional questions you may have.
