Ah, finally I have it. What you mean is, you put the Jaws interface on the screen, either by cycling to it in the task tray or bringing it up with Insert J, and *then* you press insert control v and hear the info about that version of Jaws. you don't "enter" Jaws. I couldn't figure out what you meant about "entering" and the desktop, which must mean something to you but I can't figure out what, exactly.
