It sounds like about what I wrote Freedom Scientific. It's not an issue
but a problem.

Thank you for contacting Freedom Scientific technical Support. You are
experiencing the issue outlined in the below TSN:

Bulletin Type: TSN Number: 27669

Date Posted: 07/19/2006

Product Name: JAWS

Version: 7.10 plus

Category: HTML

Short Description:

JAWS won't read lists, such as JAWS Key+F7 link lists, if Rely on MSAA
for ListViews is checked.

Problem:

If you run JAWS as a service and Rely on MSAA for ListViews is checked
JAWS does not speak when pressing the UP or DOWN ARROWS in lists like
the JAWS Key+F7

links list.

This is due to ListView enhancements made to JAWS 7.10 where JAWS will
read a ListView in the normal way but will use MSAA when it fails to
read list views

using the normal method.

Solution:

One option is to only check mark Rely on MSAA for ListViews as an
application specific setting. Do not check it in default.jcf. JAWS will
then read only

the MSAA information for list views in that specific application.

Another option, if you have Rely on MSAA for ListViews checked and you
find that JAWS lists like JAWS Key+F7 does not properly speak when
pressing the ARROW

keys, is to uncheck the Automatically Start JAWS checkbox under the
Options menu, Basic Settings dialog box of JAWS. Then set up a hot key
to launch JAWS,

and start JAWS using the hot key.

Subject: Version 7.10 question

I didn't realize Jaws Ver. 7.10.452u had so many problems. I went to the
United Airline site to look at some flights. After I entered my choices
the
screen came back blank. I thought it was me but after trying it a few
times
I unloaded Jaws Ver 7.1 and loaded Ver. 7.0 and there was the Web page.
What
is the deal? Why can't Ver. 7.1 see the page?
Tom
