Verbosity Problem

All of a sudden, for no discernible reason, JAWS just started announcing the selected or unselected status of items, as I arrow up and down a list view. So far as I can tell, it is only doing this on the desktop and in OE.

I didn't make any changes to my verbosity setting; it just start happening for no reason. I'd like to check my verbosity settings. But I can't remember which option controls this particular behavior. could someone please remind me .
