Hi,

If you just want to listen to the audio, no. All you'll need is Winamp, as
DAISY books are just MP3, HTML and SMIL files. Also, if
you just want to view the text, you just need internet explorer. But if you
want cyncronization, you'll need a DAISY Reader, such
as FSReader, of which I can't find a URL.

Matthew

Hi Mat, thanks for the two links in the below post. I have a question for
anyone. I am still a bit confused. If I want to go back to the link that I
will post in a moment, and download this huge daisy format file will I be
able to hear it right away or am I going to need something else to play this
file. I have jaws 5.1 the link I talked about it
http://www.freedomscientific.com/fs_products/training_basic.asp if you go to
that link you can download the whole daisy basic training for jaws 6.0 I
would like to hear it before I get jaws 6.0. If I will need something else
can I get this or do I have to have Jaws 6.0 installed to hear this file.
Thanks.
