Try putting focus on the button and hit the right mouse button, numpad star.
Arrow down to play and press enter.

Dear Listers:

 

How do you go about activating the Play button when you want to play
something that is in a flash?  Do you use the JAWS cursor and hit the Left
Mouse Key?  This is the way I have always tried it, but I cannot get
whatever I wish to play to play.  Am I doing something wrong?
