Well, remember that each system is different. You can try it, and if you run 
into problems, you can do a re-install without the merge.

I thought it was okay to use the merge feature. Maybe that is why I have
trouble some times. I have some nice things set up especially in outlook
express. I have it on advanced verbosity so I don't have to hear things like
message deleted but that is too bad about the merge feature. I thought
freedom said it worked okay.
