Daniel,
Yes, you are correct.  If you hit Insert +0 while in outlook express, The
script manager loads and it automatically loads the outlook express 5-6.jss
file.  But at that point, hit control O to bring up the open dialog box.
Then shift tab and you should be in a list of files.
Hit the letter A until you hear, ad-aware.jss, then hit enter.
Now you will have the ad-aware.jss file open.
Just hit control S, and you should hear, compile complete.
Now hit alt f4 to exit out of the script manager.
Your done with the recompiling of the scripts!
