Yes, but then JAWS 10 issues stay with JAWS 9. It's pervasive.

FS told me that when you install 10, it updates core files that 9 uses as
well. That's why when I had a problem, uninstalling 10 didn't take care of
the problem. So, I am not sure what will happen. Uninstall, but tell it to
leave any files that may be shared. That's my best guess.
