Hi Judith,JAWS is reading the screen correctly and while I do value the two spaces announcement between sentences and after the period of a sentence, occasionally I read a document where the author uses two spaces between words frequently and it drives me nuts. I am wondering if the two spaces can be toggled or turned off.
Thanks, Tom At 11:27 AM 11/27/2007, you wrote:
Tom, I use two spaces between the end of one sentence and the beginning of the next. I have my spell check set to announce all spelling and grammar errors as I read a document back line by line. Are you talking about the grammar check or in general? If it is the grammar check try calling FS support to rectify the problem. Is it possible to eliminate announcing of two spaces without messing up other punctuation. If it is possible, please tell me how. Thanks, Tom -- No virus found in this outgoing message.Checked by AVG Free Edition.
