Andrew,

With some applications like those in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and
so on) you can use Alt to get to the menu bar and then Control + Tab to
cycle through the toolbars. On each one use the arrow keys or Tab to
move through the items on the toolbar.

With other applications like Internet Explorer or Outlook Express, there
is no direct way of getting to the toolbars and JAWS gives you a
keystroke of Insert + F8 which effectively gives you a method of using
the toolbar icons although the list you get isn't derived from what is
on screen.

Subject: Tool bar

Dear list,

I have been looking at the various bars on the screen lately. I can cope
with the menu bar, but how do I access the tool bar and what is it on
it?

Many thanks!

Andrew
