Jaws is now like many other applications in that you will find that the core of the application and its support apps are in: \program files\freedomscientific\jaws\6.0\ you will find personal settings files in: \documents and settings\your name\applicationdata\freedomscientific\jaws\6.0\settings\enu general settings files can be found in: \documents and settings\all users\freedomscientific\jaws\6.0\settings\enu but I don't know the structure for windows 9x. The files found under your name will be the ones you have altered by making changes to configuration settings and those you have either compiled from script sources or put there for some other reason. This new approach is partly aimed at fascilitating the new remote capabilities of jaws. The layout seems to have changed a little in this version. Thanks in advance. I'm using it at work, and it seems quite snappy and responsive. I don't know when I'll get to use it at home. FS did send me a rest code to fix the SMA issue, but now it's not recognizing my authorization disk and who knows if FS is going to want to send me a new one. I was disappointed to discover that FS has again omitted support for the new DecTalk USB. Access Solutions told me they had submitted the drivers to FS, they had been tested, and FS had said okay, but I guess they forgot. All in all, if version 6 is as stable as it appears at first glance, I'm happy.
