Terminal server

Hi all,
at work I need to access databases which are loaded on the central server.
PCs from different offices are connected to it via a program called Terminal
Server. As I understand it, my computer becomes a simple terminal when I
enter date there. The problem is that JAWS doesn't read anything on the
screen, not even the username and password prompt! Has anyone had experience
with this? Is there a way to configure JAWS? The thing tech support
suggested is that the software be loaded on my office PC locally. This way
it will certainly work, but then they would have to instal every update to
the software on my PC directly, along with the central server.

Thanks so much in advance for any input.

Take care

Fran
